Start with the word “legit”
People type “is vegas now legit” for three different reasons: is it a real business, will it pay, and am I breaking the law. The answers are yes, we do not know yet, and no. Vegas Now is a real casino on the SoftSwiss platform with a named company and licence in its footer. Whether it pays is a question we can only answer after a withdrawal of our own, which is on the to-do list above; until then we have complaint counts. And an Australian player commits no offence by playing at an offshore casino; the law targets the operator and the advertiser, which is why two of the brand’s domains are on the ACMA block list.
The licence, in two dates
The footer on 28 September 2026 read: Just Entertainment B.V., Willemstad, Curaçao, registration 160603, Curaçao licence OGL/2024/164/0246, with Mooncash Limited of Cyprus named as payment agent. An archived copy of the same page from 8 February 2025 read: “vegasnow.com is owned and operated by Dama N.V. … company registration number 152125 … E-gaming license No. OGL/2023/174/0082 issued by Curaçao Gaming Control Board”, with a “click to validate” seal. So the operating company and the licence number both changed between February 2025 and September 2026. That is not unusual on this platform, where brands move between group companies, but it is a fact worth knowing before you hand over ID: the entity holding your data today is not the one that held it last year. Neither licence is an Australian one. The only correct phrasing is the operator’s own: licensed in Curaçao.
The ACMA block list
The Australian Communications and Media Authority keeps a public list of gambling sites it has asked internet providers to block. On 28 September 2026 that list included vegasnow.com and vegasnow1.com. The address the operator was actually using, vegasnow18.com, was not on it, and vegasnow10.com redirected there. This is the mechanism behind the numbered domains: when an address is blocked, the operator opens the next number. For you it means a bookmarked address may stop working one day, and a search for the brand may land on a copy. The login help page has the three checks for telling the operator’s page from a copy.

The copies, and why they matter to “legit”
Three sites ranked for the brand from Australia on 29 September 2026 that are not the operator. One prints a Malta Gaming Authority licence number and calls itself “the official licensed online casino”; Vegas Now has never been Malta-licensed. Another, a WordPress site titled “VEGASNOW LOGIN”, describes “our licensed Australian platform” and answers its own question “is it legal” with a paragraph about “properly licensed international services”; no online casino is licensed in Australia. A third mirrors the design and forwards clicks. If you judged Vegas Now by those pages, you would judge it by claims the operator itself does not make. Judge it by its own footer and payments table instead.
What the complaint sites show
At our pre-check on 28 September 2026, casino.guru gave Vegas Now Casino a safety index of 4.7, which that site labels low, with seven complaints on file; AskGamblers listed five. We have not read each complaint’s outcome, and counts on those sites lean towards bonus disputes and slow verification rather than non-payment. We will update the counts and the resolved-versus-unresolved split when we do the full read from an Australian connection. What the counts do not show is any regulator action against the brand.
What the operator says about fairness and security
The FAQ states that the software is certified by iTech Labs, “an ISO/IEC 17025 compliant Australian testing laboratory”, that the random number generator meets industry requirements, and that payouts are “between 95 and 98%”. It also says the site uses SSL and keeps personal data for providing the service. These are the operator’s statements; the RTP of any given game is the figure in that game’s info panel, which the casino sets within the range the studio allows, and our pokies page explains how to read it.
Responsible gaming: an honest gap
The operator’s responsible gaming page, dated 26 February 2024 by its own stamp, offers self-exclusion through live chat and points to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare, Gambling Therapy and Gordon Moody for help. None of those is Australian. BetStop, the national self-exclusion register, covers licensed Australian bookmakers and not offshore casinos, so a BetStop registration does not stop an account here. The Australian service is Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858, free and 24/7; it is on every page of this site and on our staying in control page.
So: legit?
A real operator, a Curaçao licence you can read in the footer, a cashier with published limits, and a low complaint index we have not yet dug into. Not licensed in Australia, on a numbered domain because older ones are blocked, and with a responsible gaming page that does not know where Australia is. If you play, play with the deposit and withdrawal rules in front of you, verify on day one, and keep the sums to what you would spend on a night out.

Questions Australians ask about whether Vegas Now is legit
- Is Vegas Now legal in Australia?
- Online casinos are not licensed in Australia and it is an offence for an operator to offer them to Australians under the Interactive Gambling Act; the player is not penalised. Vegas Now is licensed in Curaçao according to its own footer. Two of its domains are on the ACMA block list, which means some Australian internet providers block them.
- Who operates Vegas Now?
- Its site code on 28 September 2026 named Just Entertainment B.V. of Willemstad, Curaçao, registration 160603, with Mooncash Limited of Cyprus as payment agent. An archived copy of the site from February 2025 named Dama N.V., registration 152125. The operating company changed between those dates.
- What licence does Vegas Now hold?
- Curaçao licence OGL/2024/164/0246 per the September 2026 footer; the February 2025 archive showed OGL/2023/174/0082 under the previous company. We have not yet opened the validator link from an Australian connection.
- Does Vegas Now pay out?
- We have not yet withdrawn our own money, so we cannot say from experience. casino.guru showed a safety index of 4.7 with seven complaints and AskGamblers five at our pre-check on 28 September 2026. The operator’s own table puts withdrawals at 20 to 4,000 per transaction.
- Is vegasnow-aud.com or au-vegasnow.com the real site?
- No. Both are third-party pages using the brand name; one prints a Malta licence Vegas Now does not hold, the other calls itself ‘our licensed Australian platform’. The operator’s live address on 29 September 2026 was a numbered domain named in its own redirects.
